Little Talbot Island State Park Campground in Jacksonville Florida is a campground or RV park that offers electric service to the sites. The few weeks prior they did not allow fires at the campsites. I have even found starfish at low tide. I usually park at the north beach lot and walk the north end of the beach all the way to the lagoon. Staff is always friendly! They are so small they got into the tent. From the campsite you can walk to the kids park which is nice and new and you can walk to the inter coastal water. Which is what drove me to Little Talbot Island State Park to distance my myself from my daily routines and focus my mind, body, and soul (via yoga.) You can fish, go crabbing, build tiki huts, and just go on a adventure. This park really doesn't need any more reviews, it is simply the best State Park in Florida! I camp in a tent and so having clean bathrooms that are really essential and these were exceptional. No pets. We were glad we were in an RV, but this campground seems better designed for tents or pop-ups. I accidentally exercised and I'm not even mad. Lesson learned- don't expect to go to a beautiful and popular park mid-morning on a holiday and not expect a line. The trails/beach were absolutely great and well marked. Little Talbot Island State Park campground is what you might expect on a Little Island; but it has water, electric, picnic tables, clothes line and a fire ring as well as relatively clean bathrooms and showers.
