A documentary that exposes what corporations and governments learn about people through Internet and cell phone usage, and what can be done about it ... if anything. For worse? It's going to be about transparency and accountability, and keeping power in check, keeping governments responsible. The film the voting machine corporations don't want you to see. I found this doc to be excellently compelling and well-made to a point that I could not turn my focus if I wanted to; something that rarely happens.

Rated R for some disturbing violent images, language and sexual material From 1947 to present day.Everything I could find on the Letterboxd database. Another I only knew some basic stuff about Wikileaks before watching so it was nice to get the full details. These people and terms have exploded into public consciousness by fundamentally changing the way democratic societies deal with privacy, secrecy, and the right to information, perhaps for generations to come.
Directed by Alex Gibney, it covers a period of several decades, and includes considerable background material. This, for the most part, is a great thing.
